The raven is the mascot of the BCNAR. A universal hero on the West Coast of BC, the raven is the creator and the trickster. The raven represents thought and memory. The raven is also the hero, the benefactor, and represents introspection, courage and self-knowledge. It is our goal to use thoughtful, innovative, and creative strategies to reach out across disciplines and Networks to further aging research in British Columbia.
