CALL FOR ABSTRACTS - Deadline is March 31, 2010
This call for abstracts invites gerontological nurses and other disciplines to submit papers and posters related to a broad variety of topics including, but not limited to, wellness and health promotion, innovative practices, research projects and findings, advocacy, education programs, mentorship and leadership programs, ethical issues, end of life issues, challenges and practical solutions in assisting older adults to find quality in their life journey.
Abstracts welcomed related to issues among older adults in the community, mental health, acute and complex care, such as: integrated health teams, new nursing roles, technology, dementia care, fall prevention, family-centered nursing, caregiver support, and palliative care to name a few. We also welcome educational and administrative topics related to staffing, workload, client/resident information systems (MDS-RAI), client/patient/resident safety, continuing education and professional development.
