BCNAR Activities Curtailed by Funding Cuts
The funding for BCNAR and the other Health Population Networks ended as of March 31st, 2010 due to budget cuts to the Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research.
BCNAR will continue with its current executive and our network coordinator in a limited capacity while we explore new funding sources. Our website will be maintained and new information will be offered via our membership list serve. Our regional liaison officer positions are not filled for the time being, nor are we able to offer grants.

It is our hope that BCNAR will be able to assist Aging Research in BC in the near future as effectively as we have done in the past.
