Emergent Needs Grant

The purpose of this Emergent Needs Opportunity is to assist BCNAR members who require funds for:

1. Research projects in progress that need a small addition of funding (up to $5000) in order to be completed. Examples of what the funds would be used for include additional recruitment of participants, transcription of interviews, data analysis, etc.;
2. New projects that have an opportunity to take advantage of a matching funds program that has a deadline before March 31;
3. Projects that capture fleeting opportunities - i.e. projects that can take advantage of unique situations that have recently occurred (e.g. forest fires/heat wave of summer 2009; swine flu epidemic, etc.
